indexWhat is Slipstream? We’ve tried it all and just wasn’t satisfied with all the firearm lubricants on the market. So, we made our own. To do so we went beyond the gun industry, and even beyond the automotive industry from which firearm lubricants are often derived. We looked at heavy industry and even the space program in our search. What we discovered was a nano-lubricant that is simply the slickest thing we’d ever seen! We then blended this nano-lubricant with a synthetic oil creating a proprietary lubricating formula, and the results we saw were simply jaw-dropping. We’ve since tested our formula in countless firearm makes and models and have yet to be unimpressed. A sample of our formula was provided to a U.S. military officer for testing. After applying the lubricant he proceeded to fire several thousand rounds through his weapon in dirty, dusty conditions with no cleaning. After more than 4000 rounds fired without a hiccup he told us “It was like a ‘slipstream’ between the moving parts.” Slipstream© Weapon Lubricant was born.

I recently had the opportunity to try using Slipstream oil, and I must say that I was very happy with the results. I have used at least half the gun lubricants on the market, each with varying results.  My experience with Slipstream were positive indeed.  After running a few hundred rounds through one of my EDCs (a S&W Shield 9mm), I decided to break it down and give the Slipstream oil a try.  After a thorough bore cleaning, I applied a small amount of the Slipstream oil to the friction points of my pistol (after giving the oil a good shaking – which is clearly spelled out on the bottle!) After reassembly, I worked the slide a few times, and I could feel the difference right away – the action simply seemed – smoother. I decided to run another box of ammo through my Shield and checked the slide again.  The action was as smooth as it was when I first
reassembled.  I’m pretty sure I found my new go-to gun oil from this point on.  Great stuff!
